Service areas across Sonoma, Marin, Napa, and East Bay
RO Living Water installs and services bottleless 4-stage RO dispensers across the North Bay, East Bay, and the Sacramento corridor. Our home base is Santa Rosa, our routes cover all eight Sonoma County cities plus the I-580, US-101, and I-80 lines into Marin, Napa, the East Bay, and Sacramento. Same-day site surveys are routine inside Sonoma County, and next-day or two-day surveys are normal everywhere else.
Where in Sonoma County do we install?
Sonoma County is our home market and where roughly two-thirds of our installs happen. Steve and Jonah live in Santa Rosa, so anything inside the county is a same-day or next-day visit. The municipal water in this county is generally good - the Sonoma Water agency manages the Russian River source, and per-utility quality detail is published by the California State Water Resources Control Board - but TDS, chlorine, and seasonal taste swings still make a 4-stage RO system worth installing.
Santa Rosa
Santa Rosa is our densest service area. We install regularly in the Railroad Square professional buildings, the Airport Business Center off Aviation Boulevard, the Fountaingrove office parks, downtown around Old Courthouse Square, and the medical clusters along Sotoyome and Round Barn. Coddingtown-area dental offices, the Stony Point business district, and the Sebastopol Road industrial corridor all see weekly visits. Most Santa Rosa installs are completed within five business days of the site survey, and our same-day survey window is the broadest of any city we serve.
Petaluma
Petaluma is our second-largest market. We install across the riverfront historic district near Theatre Square, the McDowell Boulevard office parks, the North McDowell tech corridor, and the industrial bays out toward Lakeville Highway. Telecom Valley legacy buildings on Redwood Way still account for a steady share of our quote requests. Petaluma installs are typically scheduled within a week, and the Highway 101 access from Santa Rosa makes filter-change visits an easy half-day.
Rohnert Park
Rohnert Park installs cluster along Redwood Drive, the Sonoma State University periphery, and the office condos near the SMART station on Rohnert Park Expressway. Hospitality and casino-adjacent back-office sites near Wilfred Avenue have been a growing segment for us. Because Rohnert Park is only fifteen minutes from our Santa Rosa base, we often combine a Rohnert Park install with a Cotati or Petaluma filter-change run on the same day.
Windsor
Windsor installs are concentrated around the Town Green and the Old Redwood Highway corridor, plus the airport-adjacent business buildings near the Charles M. Schulz - Sonoma County Airport. Wine industry back-office and tasting-room support spaces in the Shiloh Road area have been a recurring source of work. Windsor sits on the Highway 101 line between Santa Rosa and Healdsburg, so we route service visits through it twice weekly.
Sebastopol
Sebastopol customers are concentrated downtown along Main Street, the Barlow district, and the smaller professional offices on Petaluma Avenue. The Barlow in particular is dense with food-and-beverage tenants who care a lot about water taste, and the 4-stage RO setup is a strong fit. The Gravenstein Highway corridor and the smaller wellness practices on Bodega Avenue round out our regular Sebastopol routes. Sebastopol is twenty minutes from Santa Rosa, and we do not surcharge for the drive.
Healdsburg
Healdsburg installs are largely tasting rooms, hospitality back-of-house, and the small-but-growing tech footprint around the Healdsburg Plaza and Healdsburg Avenue. The Westside Road wineries and the Dry Creek Valley cluster are within our service map, although those rural sites often need a small softening pre-stage upstream of Stage 1 because of well-water hardness. The Alexander Valley professional offices and the boutique hotels around the Plaza round out our recurring Healdsburg work. Healdsburg is forty minutes from our base on Highway 101.
Sonoma (city)
The city of Sonoma is the southeastern anchor of the county. We install around the historic Plaza, along Broadway and West Napa Street, and in the Eighth Street East light-industrial area. Tasting rooms, vineyard offices, and the smaller medical and dental practices around Maxwell Farms make up most of our Sonoma work. We bundle Sonoma site surveys with Napa visits when timing allows.
Cotati
Cotati is small but consistent - we install along East Cotati Avenue and the Old Redwood Highway business strip, plus the office buildings near La Plaza Park and the smaller professional spaces around the historic Cotati Hexagon. The veterinary, dental, and chiropractic practices clustered near the SMART rail station are a steady source of countertop unit installs. Because Cotati shares a water utility footprint with Rohnert Park (managed in coordination with Sonoma County agencies), we treat the two cities as a single service loop.
Do you serve Marin and Napa?
Yes - Marin and Napa are our second and third tier markets, both reachable inside an hour from Santa Rosa.
San Rafael
San Rafael installs cluster downtown along Fourth Street, the Northgate office buildings near Highway 101, and the professional towers in the Civic Center area. The Canal District’s small-business footprint and the Terra Linda medical buildings round out our regular routes. San Rafael is roughly fifty minutes from Santa Rosa and we typically batch surveys with Larkspur and Corte Madera visits on the same day.
Novato
Novato is our largest Marin market. We install across the Bel Marin Keys business park, the Hamilton Field redevelopment, downtown along Grant Avenue, and the Atherton Avenue tech corridor. Biotech and gaming-industry tenants in the Hamilton complex are a recurring source of larger XL1-class jobs, and the medical offices near Novato Community Hospital round out the routine route. The Ignacio Boulevard professional cluster and the small-business spaces along Redwood Boulevard add weekly visits. Novato is forty-five minutes from Santa Rosa with no bridge in the way.
Larkspur
Larkspur installs are split between the Larkspur Landing ferry-adjacent offices, the Marin Country Mart commercial-and-creative spaces, and the smaller storefronts along Magnolia Avenue in downtown. The professional buildings near the Marin Country Mart and the Bon Air Center medical offices make up most of our recurring work, and the wellness practices around Doherty Drive add steady countertop demand. Larkspur visits are typically combined with Corte Madera or Mill Valley stops on the same Marin loop.
Mill Valley
Mill Valley installs are concentrated downtown around the Depot Plaza, along Miller Avenue, and in the Strawberry shopping-center offices. The small creative-agency and architecture-firm clusters around East Blithedale are a steady source of countertop unit installs, and the wellness, yoga, and pilates studios near the Mill Valley Lumber Yard add a recurring stream of smaller jobs. The professional offices near Tamalpais High School round out the regular route. We service Mill Valley on the same loop as Larkspur and Corte Madera.
Corte Madera
Corte Madera installs cluster around The Village shopping center, the office buildings near Tamal Vista Boulevard, and the Town Center retail-and-professional mix. The smaller medical and dental offices along Madera Boulevard and the creative-firm tenants near the Nordstrom Rack anchor add steady demand. Corte Madera is the southernmost point on our regular Marin loop, and we often pair it with a San Francisco-bound delivery if a customer in the city has scheduled a service visit on the same day.
Napa, Yountville, St. Helena, Calistoga
Napa Valley is its own service loop. The city of Napa is our anchor - we install across downtown, the Oxbow district, the Soscol Avenue commercial strip, and the airport-area business parks. Yountville is mostly hospitality and culinary back-of-house. St. Helena installs cluster downtown along Main Street and the Silverado Trail wineries. Calistoga rounds out the valley with installs at downtown spas, the Lincoln Avenue retail strip, and the geothermal-resort back-of-house. All four cities are roughly an hour from Santa Rosa via Highway 12 and we run a Napa Valley loop twice a week.
What about East Bay and Sacramento?
We extend service into the East Bay and the Sacramento corridor for customers willing to plan a few days ahead. The 4-stage RO system is identical in every market - the only difference is the lead time on surveys and filter-change visits.
Berkeley
Berkeley installs cluster along Shattuck Avenue, the Fourth Street commercial strip, the West Berkeley industrial-and-creative belt around Gilman Street, and the office buildings near the UC Berkeley campus on Bancroft Way. Lab-adjacent and biotech tenants in the Berkeley Global Campus and the Aquatic Park business district are a recurring source of XL1-class quotes. The professional offices around Solano Avenue and the smaller architecture firms in the Elmwood district add steady countertop demand. Berkeley visits are typically scheduled three to five business days out.
Oakland
Oakland installs span downtown around the Lake Merritt office towers, the Jack London Square waterfront, the Temescal corridor along Telegraph Avenue, and the warehouse-conversion creative offices in West Oakland. We see steady demand from healthcare clinics in the Pill Hill medical district, the Rockridge professional offices along College Avenue, and the smaller business spaces in the Fruitvale and Dimond districts. Uptown gallery and event venues add a recurring stream of S4 sparkling installs. Oakland is roughly eighty minutes from Santa Rosa and we run an East Bay loop weekly.
Walnut Creek
Walnut Creek installs concentrate around the downtown Broadway Plaza area, the Shadelands business park off Ygnacio Valley Road, and the office towers near the BART station on California Boulevard. The medical offices clustered around John Muir Health and the professional buildings along North Main Street add steady recurring work, and the smaller wellness and dental practices in the Rossmoor-adjacent strip round out the route. Walnut Creek is the easternmost point on our regular East Bay loop - about ninety minutes from Santa Rosa, and we batch it with Berkeley and Oakland filter-change visits.
Sacramento, Roseville, Folsom
Sacramento installs cluster around Midtown, the Capitol-area government and lobbying offices, and the office parks along Highway 50 toward Rancho Cordova. Roseville sits on our I-80 loop with installs in the Galleria-area office buildings and the Douglas Boulevard professional cluster. Folsom rounds out the corridor with installs in the Iron Point and Empire Ranch business parks. The Sacramento loop runs every two weeks and surveys are typically scheduled five business days out.
How fast is install scheduling by city?
Inside Sonoma County, the median time from signed agreement to a working unit on your wall is five business days, and rush installs are routinely possible inside 48 hours. Marin and Napa typically run seven business days. East Bay and Sacramento run ten business days. Filter-change visits, which are part of every lease, are scheduled on a fixed cadence by route - Sonoma County twice weekly, Marin and Napa weekly, East Bay and Sacramento every two weeks.
