A Pure Water Technology cooler connects directly to your building's cold water line. Water passes through 4 filtration stages - sediment, carbon, RO membrane, and post-carbon (adds minerals back) - before being chilled, heated, iced, or carbonated on demand. See our how it works page for the full technical breakdown.
No. Most offices have a cold water line within 10 feet of the desired cooler location (kitchen sink, bathroom, etc.). If it's further, we extend up to 25 feet as part of installation at no extra cost. Longer runs are rare but possible.
Plan on 4–6 hours for any model. Steve and Jonah handle every install in person - no subcontractors. RO produces some wastewater, so we install a drain line as part of the job.
On a 5-year plan: PW50-R base model (10–13 people), PW70-R touchless (20–26 people), PW90-R touchless flagship (~30 people), S4 sparkling, I 14 (popular ice + water, ~30 people), XL 1 (gym-scale unlimited cold) Shorter contracts carry a higher monthly rate. install fee after contract signed, waived during your 7-day free trial.
After a free 7-day trial, we sign a service plan that runs 1 to 5 years. Longer plans lower your monthly rate. Jug delivery prices rise with petroleum costs - unpredictable year to year. If your business closes or relocates, talk to us.
Everything: the equipment itself, all filter changes (annually for most models, every 6 months for ice machines), UV lamp every 5 years, sanitization, and service as needed. one-time install fee is separate (waived during your 7-day trial). No surprise invoices.
All filters changed annually; ice machines every 6 months. The UV lamp is replaced every 5 years. We track the schedule and show up with the filters - you never manage it yourself.
Steve Stiles and his son Jonah Stiles. Every single install, every service call. No contractors. No subcontractors. No out-of-state call centers.
Yes. Our multi-stage RO removes ~90% of total dissolved solids (TDS) - local tap water is ~150 ppm TDS, drops under 10 after RO, then 10–20 after re-mineralization. The RO membrane excludes microplastics, heavy metals, pharmaceuticals, and microbial contaminants. UV sanitization prevents bacterial buildup.
Traditional 5-gallon jug coolers require manual sanitization - a step rarely completed in practice. Multiple Legionnaires' outbreaks have been linked to neglected jug coolers. Every Pure Water Technology unit we install includes activated-oxygen self-cleaning and 24/7 system monitoring.
Our RO membrane removes 95%+ of fluoride. If you prefer to retain it for dental benefits, we can provide a bypass configuration - just ask during the free on-site visit.
RO produces some wastewater - that's why we install a drain line as part of the job. The 'waste' water is clean enough to use for janitorial or irrigation purposes, and many offices route it accordingly.
All models include hot and cold. Our I 14 adds ice; our S4 adds sparkling (sparkling or ice - not both in one unit). All models purify via the same 4-stage RO.
No - we don't use bottles at all. The whole point is to eliminate them.
The unit retains a small reserve of pre-filtered water in its tank. Once power returns, normal service resumes.

Click 'Start free trial' anywhere on this site or call (707) 888-1234. We'll come out within days. Install itself takes 4–6 hours. You use the unit free for one week before deciding.
Absolutely. The 7-day trial is free - no charge, no contract. If you don't love it, we remove the unit at no charge. If you do, we sign a 1–5 year service plan on your chosen model. Longer plans lower your monthly rate.
Renew at current rate (sometimes with a small adjustment), upgrade to newer equipment, or cancel without penalty. Our machines last up to 15 years.
The name draws from the biblical passage John 4:10–14. Steve and Jonah - father and son - see the company as an opportunity to serve the local community through honest work and quality service. RO Living Water is a young, faith-based business; Steve also runs Moondance Painting.
